Parkie Augusta Scott

Mr. Parkie A. Scott age 91, of Clarksville, Oh. passed away Monday December 4, 2017 at the Wilmington Nursing Home in Wilmington, OH. He was born on March 9, 1926 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Charlie and Daisy Rose Scott. He was a retired wielder for the Chrysler Corporation, enjoyed antique cars, horses and fishing, and was a member of the Holiness faith.

            Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Dorothy Mae Trushel Scott of Clarksville, Oh. One son; Randy Scott of Wilmington, Oh. Two brothers; Oswald James Scott of Beaver Creek, Oh., and Talmadge Scott of Dayton, Oh. Two sisters; Beulah Friedlander of Hollywood, Ca., and Freda Root of Independence, Ky. Two grandchildren; Nathen Randel Scott, and Rachel Furr, and many nieces & nephews also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: one brother; Charlie Scott Jr., and by one sister; Opal Shipley.

            Funeral services for Mr. Parkie A. Scott will be conducted 1 PM Friday December 8, 2017 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Luther Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
