Obituary

Mr. Roy Arnold Mink age 78, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Thursday October 27, 2022 at his home after a long illness. He was born on February 23, 1944 in Berea, KY the son of the late Colman and Virgie Pace Mink. He was a retired wielder, a U.S. Army Veteran, he enjoyed pheasant hunting, and was a member of the Baptist faith.

            Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Martha Cox. One son; Vall R. Mink. Two daughters; Melissa Lynch and Hillary Roark. Two step-daughters; Jennifer Mattingly, and Jamie Cornelius. One brother; Tommy Harold Mink. Numerous grandchildren also survive.

            Funeral services for Mr. Roy Arnold Mink will be conducted 2 PM Sunday October 30, 2022 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Wilder & Bro. Randall Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 1 to 2 PM on Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to: First Baptist Church Building Fund P.O. Box 639 Mt.Vernon, KY 40456.
