Rosie Lee Kidwell

Mrs. Rosie Lee Kidwell age 68, of Mt.Vernon passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington. She was born on May 31, 1950 in Rockcastle County, Ky the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Smith Sandlin. She was a housewife and mother who enjoyed gospel music, fishing, spending time with her family, and was a member of the Flatrock Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: her husband; Freddie Kidwell of Mt.Vernon. Three sons; Clifford Sandlin of Mt.Vernon, Ronnie Bostic of Cythiana, Ky. and Lester Kidwell of Lexington. Two daughters; Donna Griffin, and Mary Wright both of Mt.Vernon. Two brothers; William Ray Sandlin, and David Robert Madden both of Mt.Vernon. Two sisters; Sally Marie James of Paducha, Ky., and Liza Myrtle Rowe of Mt.Vernon. Seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren also survive.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Kidwell will be conducted 1 PM Monday November 12, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Stallsworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Laswell Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Sunday.
