Mr. Robert Eugene McFerron age 78, of Brodhead, KY passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. He was born on November 7, 1944 in Wabd, KY the son of the late Sylvester and Mary Helen Cromer McFerron. He was a retired mechanic, enjoyed gardening, farm animals, fishing, red birds, writing funny songs, singing for the Lord, and was a member of the Sand Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Rhonda Sowder McFerron. Four daughters; Kristi Ann McFerron, Ashley Neal, Tricia Kanipe, and Amanda Ethington. Three sisters; Hazel Miller, Margie Barron, and Irene Graves. 14 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: three brothers; Andrew, Fred, and one infant brother; Edward, and by one sister; Evelyn Mink.
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Eugene McFerron will be conducted 2 PM Friday December 16, 2022 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Eugene Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9PM on Thursday.
