Richard Lee Tallant

Mr. Richard Lee Tallant age 85 of Sterling Heights, MI, and formerly of Mt.Vernon passed away Sunday June 26, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 20, 1937 in Mt.Vernon the son of the late Millard James and Lillie Clarice Sams Tallant. He was a retired truck driver.

            Survivors are: one son; Richard Tallant II, and (Lisa) of Phoenix, Arizona. Three daughters; Penny Bowman and (Thomas) of Sterling Heights, MI, Peggy Tallant of Berea, KY, and Mary Goodman and (Russell) of Richmond, KY. One sister; Laura Frederick of Paint Lick, KY. 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and 3 great, great, great, grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by: Three brothers; Millard, Roy, and Wayne Tallant. 

            Funeral services for Mr. Richard Lee Tallant will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday July 2, 2022 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Joe O’Mara officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12 Noon until time of the service on Saturday.
