Paul Campbell

Mr. Paul Campbell age 74, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Friday August 7, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1946 in Hazard, Ky. the son of the late Jesse and Frances Campbell. He was a retired truck driver, enjoyed camping, fishing, target shooting, and was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Donna Sargent Campbell of Mt.Vernon. One son; Shane Campbell and (Michelle) of San Diego, CA. One daughter; Sherry Cox and (Lewis) of Mt.Vernon. Three brothers; K.L. & Charles Campbell both of Hazard, and Ronald Campbell of Villa Hills, KY. Two sisters; Ruth of Norwood, OH, and Kathy Sears of Knights Town, IN., Six grandchildren, and Nine great grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by: One brother, and three sisters.         

            Funeral services for Mr. Paul Campbell will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday August 9, 2020 at Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit after 12 Noon on Sunday. In order to protect those attending the service, we respectfully ask those in attendance to maintain social distancing and wear a face mask.
