Patricia Lou (Hendrickson) Fletcher

Patricia “Patsy” Hendrickson Fletcher, age 91 of Brodhead, Kentucky passed away Sunday February 20, 2022. She was born on May 29th, 1930 in Brodhead, a daughter of the late Charley Hendrickson and Carter Albright Hendrickson Hoskins. She was a retired merchant having operated Fletcher’s Grocery along with her husband Charles. She enjoyed watching University of Kentucky basketball, and spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of another great grandson in June. Patsy was a member of the Brodhead Baptist Church.

Survivors are:  One daughter; Kimberly Alcorn (Edd) of Berea, one son; Kevin George Fletcher of Mount Vernon, two granddaughters; Patricia Faye Nihoris (Nick) of Richmond and Lindsay Kaye McKenzie (Matt) of Richmond, a grandson; Edwin Tyler Alcorn (Lindsey) of Berea, four great grandsons; Avery and Lucas Nihoris, Eli and Isaiah McKenzie; two great granddaughters; Georgia McKenzie and Remi Alcorn, two sisters; Birdiann Bullock of Lebanon, Ohio and Charlene Gentry of Mount Vernon, and a sister-in-law; Donita Hoskins of Louisville. Patsy is also survived by many friends, neighbors and acquaintances.

Besides her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her husband Charles Fletcher,  one sister, Rhetta McDaniel and a brother, Dwight Hoskins.

A memorial service for Patricia “Patsy” Hendrickson Fletcher will be held on Saturday February 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Brodhead Baptist Church with Bro. Luther Allen officiating. 

Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may call at the church at 12 Noon until time of service on Saturday.
