Melonie Mae Reyes

Mrs. Melonie Mae Reyes age 45, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Thursday February 13, 2020. She was born on September 16, 1974 in Berea, Ky. the daughter of Douglas Lewis of Richmond, and Linda Baker Proctor of Mt.Vernon. She worked in food service, enjoyed spending time with children, drawing, reading, taking long rides, and was a member of the Victory Christian Outreach Church in Richmond. 

            Survivors besides her parents are: one son; Jazmanie Reyes of Mt.Vernon. Two daughters; Tiffany Jade Lewis, and Aurora Reyes both of Mt.Vernon. One brother; Christopher Lewis of Raleigh, NC. One grandchild; Braden Kendrick, two nieces, two great nieces, and two great nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister; Regina Morgan, and by her grandparents.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Melonie Mae Reyes will be conducted 2 PM Sunday February 16, 2020 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Riddle Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11 AM to 2 PM on Sunday.
