Keith Rigsby

Mr. Keith Rigsby age 90, of Brodhead passed away on Thursday December 10, 2020 at the Terrace Nursing Home in Berea after a long illness. He was born on November 17, 1930 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Clyde and Margaret Harris Rigsby. He was a retired farmer & licensed funeral director, was a former Brodhead Fire Chief, he enjoyed collecting toy tractors and playing Santa Clause, and was a member of the Union Chapel Church. The joy in Keith’s heart these past few years came from his love for the Lord and the joy he received from his grandchildren. Dalton Keith, Bailee and Brittney were loved with everything he had.

            Survivors are: Kaye Rigsby, Buford Parkerson, Sharon McKinney, Anna Lee Huddleston, and Faye Rigsby. Three step-children; Charles and Paula DeBorde, Wayne DeBorde, Betty Brown and David, and Vicki Reynolds all of Brodhead, and Robert and Ginnie DeBorde of Mt.Vernon. Seven grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by: his wife; Susie Rigsby, by Glen Rigsby, and Lucy Rigsby Harns.

            Funeral services for Mr. Keith Rigsby were conducted at 2 PM on Saturday December 12, 2020 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Buford Parkerson officiating.
