Jonathan Kirby Obituary

Mr. Jonathan Paul Kirby age 56, of Livingston passed away on Thursday April 22, 2021 at his home after a long illness. He was born on February 7, 1965 in Rockcastle County the son of Mrs. Sylvia Cromer Kirby of Sand Hill, and the late Jonathan Newcomb Kirby. He was a heavy equipment operator enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, horseback riding, spending time with family & friends, and was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church.

            Survivors besides his mother are: two sisters; Mrs. Brenda Masters and husband (Bobby) Berea, and Mrs. Debra Lucas and husband (Ed) of Livingston. Two nephews; Christopher Jones of Baton Rouge, LA., and Bobby Neil Masters of Richmond, Kentucky, one niece; McKaelyn Fields of Richmond, Kentucky and one special friend; Vicki Sharp also survives.  

            Funeral services for Mr. Jonathan Paul Kirby will be conducted 2 PM Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Doan officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirby Cemetery at Sand Hill.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Monday. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and funeral home capacity will be limited to 60%.
