Jo Anne Riney

Mrs. Jo Anne Riney age 91, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Saturday May 23, 2020 at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington. She was born on May 19, 1929 in Anderson, IN the daughter of the late Tom and Alva Harrison. She was a retired nurse, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt.Vernon.

            Survivors are: one son; Gary Riney of Mt.Vernon. Two daughters; Cheryl Sull of Lakewood, Colorada, and Patricia Ann Lawrence and husband (Dave) of Rocky Mount, N.C.. Three grandchildren; Scotty, Chris, and Michelle, two great grandchildren; Savannah, and Anthony, one great great grandchild; Keyarah, and Patricia Ann’s daughter-in-law; Sandy also survives. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; Victor Glenn Riney.            

            In accordance with current state mandates and in order to maintain social distancing a private visitation and funeral with a total of 35 family and friends will attend the service with Bro. Luther Allen officiating. Arrangements by the Cox Funeral Home.
