Jimmy Cromer

Mr. Jimmy Cromer age 85, of Crab Orchard, KY passed away on Sunday January 7, 2024 at his home after a long illness. He was born on December 31, 1938 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Bertie and Mattie Winstead Cromer. He was a former owner & operator of Mt.Vernon Plumbing & Electrical Supply for nearly 30 years, was a shriner & mason, enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a member of the Christian faith.

            Survivors are: his wife of 63 years of whom he married on April 16, 1960; Mrs. Shirley Hasty Cromer. One son; Jeff Cromer and (Anissa). Two daughters; Vanessa Adams and (Wendell), and Jamie Hensley and (Jerry). Two sisters; Bethada Mullins, Anna Mildred. Six grandchildren; Micheala Faye Jennings, Andrew Blake Hurt, John William Cromer, Jeffrey Wayne Cromer II, Bethany Grace Cromer, and Charles Christopher Adams. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: one grandson; James Derek Kirby, and by four brothers; Charles, Earl Benton, Kenneth, and Glenn Edward Cromer.

            Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Cromer will be conducted at 1 PM on Friday January 12, 2024 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Medley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Memorial Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 7 to 9 PM on Thursday.
