Jim Gibbons

Mr. Jim Gibbons age 78, of Orlando, KY passed away on Sunday December 4, 2022 at his home after a long illness. He was born on April 23, 1944 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Frank and Mary Hensley Gibbons. He was a retired farmer, enjoyed gardening & fishing, loved his grandchildren, and the Lord and was a member of the Brush Creek Holiness Church.

            Survivors are: his wife of 57 years; Mrs. Pauline Mary Helton Gibbons. Three sons; Dallas Gibbons and (Lisa), Garret Gibbons and (Patricia), and James Gibbons and (Tina). Two daughters; Magdalene Farmer and (Jimmy), and Margaret Sear and (Dale). One daughter-in-law; Tammy Gibbons. 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild also survives. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: one son; Hardin Gibbons.

            Funeral services for Mr. Jim Gibbons will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday December 7, 2022 at the Brushcreek Holiness Church with Bro. Lonnie McGuire & Bro. Allen Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonetta Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the Church from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday.
