Obituary

 

            Mr. Hans L. Lindblom age 90, of Renfro Valley, KY passed away on Sunday November 21, 2021 at Rockcastle Hospital in Mt.Vernon. He was born on July 26, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA. the son of the late Harry and Karin Jauson Lindblom. He was a retired mathematician having worked in navel weapons, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, enjoyed caving, white water rafting the Grand Canyon, Kern River, and Costa Rica, also enjoyed hiking & camping, was a member of the NWA Grotto Society, former sound & light man at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, was a Kentucky Colonel, a 2nd Generation Elks Club member, he loved animals, and was the author of Lindbloms Simplified Ornithology.

            Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Betty Cornelison Lindblom of Renfro Vally. Six sons; Carl, Monte, and Dano Lindblom, and Marshall, Christopher, and David Traugott. One daughter; Karin Lindblom. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home and services will be at a later date.
