Glenis (McBee) Dick

Mrs. Glenis Estelle McBee Dick age 84, of Mt.Vernon passed away Thursday September 12, 2019 at Bluegrass Care & Rehab Center in Lexington. She was born on March 2, 1935 in Mt.Vernon the daughter of the late Estel and Melberda Martin McBee. She was a retired secretary, was a key member & organizer of the High School Reunion committee, was also a key member of the local diabetes association, was a Election pole volunteer, and was a member of the Baptist faith.

            Survivors are: two sons; Jerry Dick & (Tammy) of Lancaster, Ky., and Stephen Dick & (Elizabeth) of Lawrenceburg, Ky.  Two daughters; Alicia Carpenter & (Teddy) of Lawrenceburg, and Michele Fark of (Alan) of Lebanon, Ky. One brother-in-law; John Wayne Badida. Seven grandchildren; Stephanie, Michael, Amanda, Danielle, Lindsay, Benjamin, and Rachel, four step-grandchildren; Ryan, Kara, Sarah, and Michael, and six great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: one sister; Virginia Badida.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Glenis Estelle McBee Dick will be conducted 2 PM Friday September 20, 2019 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Shannon Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 1 PM until the time of the service on Friday.
