Geraldine Clontz Obituary

Mrs. Geraldine Clontz age 89, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Sunday November 20, 2022 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Brodhead after a long illness. She was born on June 29, 1933 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late David and Mary Ellen Owens Noe. She was a housewife, she loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and children, she also enjoyed traveling, gardening, U.K. Football & Basketball, horse racing, and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: three sons; John Clontz and (Sheila) of Jacksonville, FL, Joseph Clontz and (Linda) of Mt.Vernon, and Jim Clontz and (Tammy) of Mt.Vernon. One daughter; Carla Parsons and (Lynn) of Mt.Vernon. One sister; Patsy Baker. 9 grandchildren, and 12 and ½ great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; Carl Ray Clontz, and by two brothers; Earl Noe & William Owens.

            Memorial services for Mrs. Geraldine Clontz will be conducted at 7 PM on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. David King officiating.  Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 4:30 PM until service time on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to: The Rockcastle County Scholarship Fund in care of: Stella Young P.O. Box 1046, Mt.Vernon, KY 40456.
