Mrs. Fannie Mae Wallin, 77, of Mt.Vernon, Ky died on December 16th, 2020 at Baptist Health in Richmond, Kentucky after a long illness. Fannie was born in Mt. Vernon on February 11, 1943 the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Rose Jones Jasper. She was a School Teacher in Owen and in Rockcastle County for 31 years. She loved singing, playing music, writing songs, writing poetry, reading, and traveling. She was a baptized member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mt. Vernon.
Survivors are one daughter Regina (Philip) Hull-Brown of Mt. Vernon; siblings Shelby Shockley of Conway and John Jasper of Crab Orchard; sister in law Rosa Lee Jasper of London; four grandchildren Brandy (Matthew) Smith, Brandon (Kirbie) Reynolds, Rachel Killen, and Caleb Price; and nine great grandchildren; one very special great great niece, Patience Gleissner. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom E. Wallin, a daughter Tomina Price, a son Thomas F. Wallin; Siblings Carroll Gilliland and Wayne Jasper.
Graveside services for Mrs. Fannie Mae Wallin were conducted 1 PM Saturday December 19, 2020 at the Elmwood Cemetery and services were private.
