Obituary
Mr. Doug Kirby age 50, of Mt.Vernon, KY passed away on Saturday August 6, 2022 at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington. He was born on December 6, 1971 in Mt.Vernon the son of Paul and Clarice Renner Kirby of Mt.Vernon. He was a musician, loved playing the guitar, his Dogs, the group Van Halen, drawing, and was a member of the Christian faith.
Survivors besides his parents are: two sons; Cody Kirby of Nashville, and Brendan Clay Kirby of Berea. One niece; McKenzie Kirby, and one friend and love; Mitzi Kirby also survives. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Stacey and Jason Kirby.
Funeral services for Mr. Doug Kirby will be conducted 2 PM Tuesday August 9, 2022 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Zandell Hasty officiating. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday.
