Dorothy Scott Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Scott age 91, Wilmington, Oh passed away on Monday January 24, 2022 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 5, 1930 in Dayton, OH the daughter of the late Louis Fredrick and Grace Eleanor Hearald Trushel. She was a retired Game Room operator, enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, sewing quilts, embroidering, puzzles, and cooking & canning. Dorothy was a very compassionate person who loved God. She gave her bright spirit to everyone she came in contact with. Her mission in life was to make a difference in all of those that she met right until the end even in the nursing home. Dorothy was a member of the Holiness faith.

            Survivors are; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; Parkie Scott, by one son; Randy Scott, by one daughter; Belinda Mae Scott, and by three sisters; Ruth Reier, Shirley Faulkner, and Elizabeth Rifner.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Scott will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday January 29, 2022 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10 AM until time of the service on Saturday.
