Doris Faye (Graves) Miller

Mrs. Doris Faye Graves Miller age 79, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Saturday April 1, 2023 at her home after a long illness. She was born on September 1, 1943 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late John Dee and Molly Lorene Renner Graves. She was a homemaker, enjoyed spending time with her family and church family, loved sharing stories of her childhood, and was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ.

            Survivors are: her children; Harold Miller and wife (Verla), Anna Miller Evans and husband (Jearl), Janice Miller, Ricky Miller and wife (Jenny), Donna Miller Asher and husband (Bill), Daughter-in-law; Jennifer Miller, Charles “Chuck” Miller and wife (Melissa), and George Miller and wife (Elizabeth). 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one nephew; Darrell Graves, one niece; Tammy Graves Lewis, and one sister-in-law; Rita Graves also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; R.B. Miller, by one daughter; Brenda Kaye Miller, by one son; Mark Anthony Miller, and by one brother; Charles Edward Graves.    

            Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Faye Graves Miller will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Wendell Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday.
