Willa Jo Roberts

Willa Jo Roberts age 71, of Brodhead passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset after a long illness. She was born on September 15, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH the daughter of the late Evert and Gladys Dotson Roberts. She enjoyed arts & crafts, working with, and helping people, she worked at the Christian Appalachian Project with the Girls & Boys Homes, and was a secretary at the Bible Baptist Church for 30 years where she was also a member.

            Survivors are: one brother; Ken Roberts and (Jealetta) of Brodhead. One sister; Mary Buckalew of North Carolina. Three nephews; Kevin Roberts and (Linda) of Stearns, Ky. , Tim Buckalew and Tracy Buckalew, and by one niece; Tina.  

            Funeral services for Willa Jo Roberts will be conducted 1 PM Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Bible Baptist Church with Bro. Travis Gilbert & Bro. Don Stayton  officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the Church from 6 to 9 PM on Friday.
