Mrs. Victoria Cromer age 78, of Mt.Vernon passed away Friday March 1, 2019 at her home after a long illness. She was born on January 21, 1941 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of the late Harvey and Hazel Tinch Mink. She was a homemaker, enjoyed Christmas time, quilting, flowers, cooking, wanted to be remembered for replacing tears with smiles, and was a member of the Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are: her husband; Keith Cromer of Mt.Vernon. One son; Bobby Cromer and (Anna) of Mt.Vernon. Six daughters; Linda Dykes and (Roger) of Mt.Vernon, Gwenda Woodall and (Ralph) of Somerset, Vickie Dykes and (James) of Somerset, Winona Dykes and (Jay) of Mt.Vernon, Evelyn McFadden and (Lloyd) of Mt.Vernon, and Crystal Sowder and (Daniel) of Orlando. 23 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: two brothers; Earl & Joel Mink, by five sisters; Marie Mink, Mattie Reed, Pauline Johnson, Patty Hogan, and Jean Rash, and by two grandchildren; Amy Woodall, and Willie Dykes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Cromer will be conducted 1 PM Sunday March 3, 2019 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Ova Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Saturday.
