Rose Marie Kirby

Mrs. Rose Marie Kirby age 85, of Mt.Vernon passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 17, 1933 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Ott and Katie Renner Kirby. She was a homemaker, enjoyed going to church, gardening, spending time with family, grandchildren & great grandchildren, and was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ.

            Survivors are: two daughters; Lisa Bustle, and Debbie Cameron and (Mike). Two sisters; Janis Lovell, and Jewell Marler. Four grandchildren; Jeremy Rowe and (Jacinda), Kayla Parker and (Jeffrey), and Jacob Bustle, and Riley Lovins. Five great grandchildren; Gracie, Ava, and Ryder Parker, and Cynthia Wells, and Tyler Lovell also survive. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband of 64 years; Estil Logan Kirby, by two brothers; Sherman, and Tom Kirby, and by three sisters; Hazel Payne, Alma Hayes, and Faye Lovell.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Marie Kirby will be conducted 2 PM Sunday August 12, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Wendell Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Ott Kirby Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Saturday.
