Pauline Ramsey Obituary

Mrs. Pauline Bishop Ramsey, age 92, passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning, August 12, 2018. She was born on April 8, 1926 in Wildie, KY to the late Luther and Sallie Dalton Bishop. She was married on April 16, 1942 to the late Hugh Ramsey. They had two daughters, Norma Eversole and Pam Chaliff. Pauline was proudly one of the oldest members of Wildie Christian Church. She was also a long-time employee of the Wildie General Store and Post Office. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; Nannie Crews, Jean Moore, and Helen Carmack Renner, by one brother; Jimmie Bishop. Besides her daughters, she leaves behind four grandsons; Eric Eversole, Ethan and Lisa Eversole, Matt and Julie Chaliff, and Josh and Astin Chaliff, six great-grandchildren; one sister; Christine Marchione, and five brothers; Shirley, Jack, Glen, Bobby, and Ronnie Bishop.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Bishop Ramsey will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday August 14, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with the Grandsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennington Cemetery in Clear Creek.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 8 PM on Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to: Berry-Ramsey Park Kentucky Christian Assembly Camp or Hospice Care Plus.
