Mary Jane Isaacs

Mrs. Mary Jane Isaacs age 75, of Mt.Vernon passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 29, 1943 in Rockcastle County, Ky. the daughter of the late Dewey and Virgie Dees Thomas. She was a retired employee of the Christian Appalachian Project, enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, camping, spending time with her grandchildren, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: her husband of 58 years; Willie Gene Isaacs of Mt.Vernon. Two sons; Mark Isaacs and (Trish) of Mt.Vernon, and Matthew Isaacs and (Christi) of Richmond. Two daughters; Leshia Bell of Mt.Vernon, and Pam Mitchell and (Thomas) of Waynesburg. Two brothers; Mike Thomas and (Janice), and J.C. Thomas and (Margie). Six sisters; Louise Davis, Pat Palland and (Harry), Phyllis Hendricks, Barbara Fischer and (John), Cathy Barnes, and Margie Norris and (James). Ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by: two brothers; Clayton, and Jimmy Thomas, and by one sister; Ruth Tankersly.
