Margarette Willene DeBord

Mrs. Margarette Willene DeBord age 82, of Mt.Vernon, and formerly of Brodhead passed away Friday July 20, 2018 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. She was born on February 22, 1936 in Pulaski County the daughter of the late Walter & Sophie McKinney Reynolds .  She was retired from Dresser Industries in Berea, enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, spending time with family & friends, and was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

            Survivors are: four children; Danny DeBord of Brodhead, Michael DeBord & (Gayle) of Mt.Veron, Karen Spencer of Science Hill, and Rita Bailey of Titusville, Fla.. Four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; John DeBord, by one infant son, by two brothers, and by one sister.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Margarette Willene DeBord will be conducted 2 PM      Wednesday July 25, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Cromer & Bro. Zach Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday.
