Lillie Pearl Stanley

Mrs. Lillie Pearl Stanley age 89, of Mt.Vernon passed away Tuesday January 16, 2018 at the Northpoint Lexington Health Care Center. She was born on February 21, 1928 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Hugh and Jalia Mink Cromer. She was a retired cook, enjoyed cooking, canning, quilting, gardening, and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: three sons; Norman Pittman of Mt.Vernon, Stanley Pittman of Pine Hill, and Rickey Pittman of Lexington. One brother; Ovie Cromer of Mt.Vernon. Two sisters; Rosa Mae "Mabel" Prewitt of Mt.Vernon, and Molly Thomas of Indiana. Eleven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; Charles Stanley, by one son; Carl Pittman, by three brothers; Fred, Rank, and Earl Cromer, and by one sister; Rena McClure.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Pearl Stanley will be conducted 11 AM Saturday January 20, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10 AM until service time on Saturday.
