Joel Deatherage

Mr. Joel Deatherage age 37, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Monday December 9, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 25, 1981 in Somerset, Ky. the son of  Joe and Phyllis Bishop Deatherage of Mt.Vernon. He was a bridge builder, enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.           

            Survivors besides his parents are: his wife; Mrs. Bethany Clark Deatherage, Two sons; Aaron Thomas Deatherage, and Hayden Deatherage, by two daughters; Ava, and Anabealla Deatherage, and by one brother; Lee Deatherage, and (Ashley) all of Mt.Vernon.

            Funeral services for Mr. Joel Deatherage will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday December 14, 2019 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Burdette & Bro. Zandell Hasty officiating. Burial will follow in the Hansel Cemetery.   Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Friday.
