Herbert Carpenter

Mr. Herbert Carpenter age 68, of Blue Ash, Oh. passed away Monday June 18, 2018 at Riverside Health Care Center in Dayton. He was born on August 31, 1949 in Bell County, Ky. the son of the late Joe and Bessie Burdine Carpenter. He volunteered for the Army and served in Vietnam becoming a decorated soldier in air combat and heroism.               Survivors are: one son; Thomas Wesley Carpenter of Louisville. Two brothers; Joe Carpenter of Lawrenceburg, and Freddie Carpenter of Whiteland, In. One sister; Flora Sutherland of Versailles. Six grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: one sister; Helen Groce.

Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Carpenter will be conducted 10:30 AM Thursday June 21, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Clydia Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 3 to 9 PM on Wednesday.
