George McMullin Obituary

Mr. George McMullin age 70, of Mt.Vernon, passed away Monday February 5, 2018 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was born on May 21, 1947 in Rockcastle County the son of the late John and Evelyn Saylor McMullin. He was a retired dry waller, enjoyed fishing, and gardening and was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are: one son; Stacy McMullin & (Angie) of Berea. Two daughters; Angie Damerel & (Shawn) of Berea, and Kym Dargavell & (Jim) of Waco, Ky. Two sisters; Mary M. Coffey of Mt.Vernon, and Bonnie Roberts of Berea. Seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: one infant child; Anna, by five brothers; Slim, Grover, Sam, Dave, and Jack, and by one sister; Amy Renner.

Memorial services will be conducted 2 PM Tuesday February 13, 2018 at the Faith Chapel Church. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
