Carrie Margie Cromer

Mrs. Carrie Margie Cromer age 78, of Mt.Vernon, passed away Sunday August 12, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 4, 1940 in Livingston, KY the daughter of the late Jesse and Nancy McVey Kirby. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, church, spending time with her family, grandchildren & great grandchildren, and was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: two daughters; Kathy Owens & (Brian) of Richmond, and Carolyn Isaacs & (Troy) of Mt.Vernon. One son; James Cromer & (Doris) of Mt.Vernon. Seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband; James Cromer, and by five sisters, and four brothers.

            Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Margie Cromer will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday August 15, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Owens      officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday.
