Archie Bales

Mr. Archie Bales age 91, of Livingston, KY passed away Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Baptist Health Continuous Care Unit in Corbin.  He was born on May 11, 1926 in Copperhill, TN the son of the late Mac and Alice Farnar Bales. He was a retired mechanic, a WWII Army Veteran with 3 battle Stars under George S. Patton, he         enjoyed traveling, and U.K. Basketball, and was a member of the Livingston Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Billie McNutt Bales of Livingston. One daughter; Arlene Smith and husband Sonny of Livingston. One grand-daughter; Sandy Smith of Livingston. Two nephews; Ronnie & David Bales, three nieces; Linda Newcomb, Sue Allen, and Kelly Stansbury, and three nephew-in-laws; Ronnie McNutt, Ralph Allen and Rob Stansbury also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: three brothers; Clifford, Gibert “Gib”, and William Junior Bales.
