Ann Amyx

Mrs. Ann Amyx age 69, of Berea, KY passed away Thursday March 15, 2018 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was born on March 30, 1948 in Tampa, Florida the daughter of the late Pete and Maude Lamkin. She was a homemaker, enjoyed U.K. Basketball, spending time with her grandsons, and singing and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: her husband of 49 years; Mr. Harold Amyx of Berea. One daughter; Beth Abney and Brandon of Berea. Three brothers; Cecil, Douglas, and Pat Lamkin all of Florida. Two sisters; Barbara Owens, and Denise Lamkin also of Florida. Three grandsons; Bryson (Emma), Blaine, and Brenton Abney, and two great grandchildren; Connor, and Silas also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: one brother; Pete Lamkin.

          Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Ann Amyx will be conducted 2 PM Saturday March 24, 2018 at the Bible Baptist Church in Mt.Vernon with Pastor Byrson Amyx officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Jackson County. 

The family will receive friends at the church after 12 Noon on Saturday.
