Tommy Hodges

Mr. Tommy Hodges age 77, of Mt.Vernon passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at his Saint Joseph Hospital in London. He was born on September 24, 1946 in Stanford, KY the son of the late Estil and Alyne Hiatt Hodges. He was a retired merchant, an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, was very active in the American Legion, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

            Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Claretta Carter Hodges of Mt.Vernon. Two sons; Tim Hodges of Nicholasville, KY, and Chad Hodges of Englewood, TN. Two daughters; Amber Cromer of Mt.Vernon, and Summer Jones of Spring Hill, FL. One brother; Jerry Hodges of Denver, CO. One sister; Jenny Sue Coffey of Elizabethtown, KY. 13 grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.

            Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Hodges will be conducted at 10 AM on Friday December 8, 2023 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson Cemetery.

            Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may visit from 6 to 9 PM on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the American Legion.
