Mr. Raymond T. Bullock

Mr. Raymond T. Bullock 85 of Route #1 Mt. Vernon died Sunday August 8, 2004 at the Pattie A. Clay Hospital in Richmond. He was born on September 1, 1918 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Will and Lissie Payne Bullock. He was a farmer, mechanic, retired from Hyster in 1981 and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ where he served as a deacon for over 25 years. He enjoyed playing the gutiar and singing.

Survivors are: His wife; Mrs. Winnie C. Norton Bullock of Route #1 Mt. Vernon. Two sons; Donald H. Bullock (Sandy) of Brodhead and Marshall R. Bullock (Alene) of Mt. Vernon. Three daughters; Faye Shafto (Don) of Mt. Vernon, Brenda Hasty (Jib) , and Sandra Eaton all of Brodhead. One sister; Irene Gifford (Johnnie) of Strawberry Plains, TN. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers; William and James Bullock, by three sisters; Edna Phelps, Elizabeth Cromer, and Juanita Taylor, and by one grand-daughter; Melanie Owens.
